Our mission and vision
The Omaha Freedom Festival is hosted by Freedomtainment, a 501c3 non-profit organization located in North Omaha, Nebraska, and celebrates the Juneteenth holiday which honors the emancipation of those enslaved in the United States.
The Festival’s mission is to: Educate, Empower & Entertain the Omaha, Nebraska community about North Omaha culture while bringing awareness to local, social and business resources.
The Festival is made possible by the support of community sponsors, personal donations, and a countless number of volunteers that together, have moved this vision forward to honor the past by bringing the community together in celebration.

Family-Friendly Activities

Kidz Zone / Family Activities, Educational / Community Info, Free Health Screenings, Vaccine Station, Local Artists / Musicians, Food & Beverage Vendors Available ($$) Each attendee including children must have a Day Pass accessible (physical or electronic) at entrance for check-in. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

How to enter contest
Go to the information booth and obtain a free raffle ticket for all contests. Write your name and phone number on the raffle. Names will be pulled randomly.
Raffle drawings will start at 1:00pm on June 15th, 2024 at Malcolm X Memorial Outside Event Plaza.
