A Celebration of Juneteenth
The Omaha Freedom Festival is hosted by Freedomtainment, a 501c3 non-profit organization located in North Omaha, Nebraska, and celebrates the Juneteenth holiday which honors the emancipation of those enslaved in the United States.
The Festival’s mission is to: Educate, Empower & Entertain the Omaha, Nebraska community about North Omaha culture while bringing awareness to local, social and business resources.
The Festival is made possible by the support of community sponsors, personal donations, and a countless number of volunteers that together, have moved this vision forward to honor the past by bringing the community together in celebration.
